pp. 231–236 (Czech), Summary 235 (English), 236 (Deutsch)

This is an overview article concerning the 19th century scenic production in which we can find, on the one hand, the traditional features of the baroque stage design, and, on the other hand, important anticipation of modern methods. The attention is paid mainly to the “storm-effect” on the stage and its different forms in theatrical plays of various tendencies of style and their staging, and to the context in which the “storm” on stage should be regarded – the technical and social development, etc.
